A few months back Albie started having pain in his joints, lost interest in our walks and even in eating. The vet said that exploring other more carefully curated food options might help + the joint supplements he was started on. Scrolling through the net, I came across the PetChef site. The composition of their meals looked interesting to me. I knew that bone broth is great for the joints and the fact that they cook their meals in it (plus their preference for natural & fresh food) struck me as worth giving it a try. I am happy to say that Albie really liked these Meals. Slowly, as the arthritic pain is being managed, his overall mood has also improved. Chicken chow is a good product to feed sick dogs.

After Hugo experienced repeated episodes of gas and really foul-smelling stools, the vet suggested we try swtiching him to a new, healthy source of food. We felt terrible that it was probably the canned food we had been feeding him for years that had made him sick. That's when a friend suggested petchef's home-like food. He said he had found these meals fresh, with natural ingredients and quite a well-balanced diet for his own pup. Now all that remained was for Hugo to like it. Very happy to say that slowly but steadily he regained interest in his meals (they smell so good despite not using any flavours). Today he's eating and feeling much better. His poop smells better as he seems to digest this food much better.
